Put some wee audio file conversion scripts up on the scripts page. Nothing earth-shattering, just handy.
Unix: October 2006 Archives
Thanks to the wonders of eBay, I have built a (very nearly) silent server to run FTP and mail for the ILikeJam empire.
I've got a Pentium M 1.3GHz on an Intel 855 board, with an obscenely large Zalman CNPS7700-AlCu cooler (running fanless), a 4200 RPM laptop drive, and a fanless power supply for seriously inaudible computing action.
Then just for a laugh, I stuck the whole lot in my wardrobe. Seriously. (For added perversity, I stuck the Zalman case sticker to the drawer. It's not too clear in the photo.)
