I would just like to say that these headphones are what might be termed 'The Shiznit'. I used them in anger for the first time last night, and they really are a superior set of cans. This is how much I paid for them (plus postage). All the Americans can now start laughing, as you lot can get these things for less than a hundred of your native bucks, and at the current exchange rate I paid just short of $230 for them. Go me. I paid around the same for these a year or two ago, but they pale in comparison with the 7506's. Fo shizzle. Or something.
I can also recommend this as a monitor if you're DJing in anything resembling a bar (or indeed a party) - it goes by the very poetic name of the 'Yamaha MSP3', and I also used it for its intended purpose for the first time last night. Why do I recommend this? It's cheap for a powered monitor, it's small, you can buy them in quantities of *one* (yay!), it can go surprisingly loud if you ask it nicely, and the drivers are very well protected, so you can chuck it around without worrying about it. It sounds very decent too.
I think you know it makes sense, and I think you know it does.
