My normal mailserver's been down for a few days (the davidstark at myrealbox dot youknowwhat address). According to their stats page they've got four billion messages queued (saved image). I'm not sure whether or not to believe this. Either way, if you've emailed me since last week, I don't know about it.

That audiophile malarkey page reared its sarcastic head on boingboing yesterday. Another 50,000 visitors.
I'm not going to bang on about this any more after this, but it's really fascinating to watch people hit, and link to, your very humble website on a fairly grand scale.
Apologies to those that emailed me who I haven't answered. I've just started a new job, and I don't have much spare time on my hands at the moment - coming home to nearly a hundred emails after an eleven hour day is a bit overwhelming. There's been a lot of interesting stuff, though, so keep it coming anyway.

So, the night before last at about 2 am, while slightly intoxicated (a few bottles of finest Peroni had been consumed), I decided it would be a good idea to submit the audiophile page to digg. The digg page is here.
The result? 37,517 page hits on this site in one day. See? I've also counted 42 blogs and forums that are linking to me. Fame at last, eh?
Thankfully, I'm not paying for the bandwidth.
