This is quite interesting. I found a website which lets you see what a website looks like to people who are colourblind. The following are renderings of this page through three different types of colourblindness:

If you've built a website with lots of custom colours for links etc., then you might want to try it too. Bearing in mind that it's illegal (in the UK at least) to provide services which discriminate against disability, and colourblindness is counted as such.
